Why Is My Candle Flame So High?

Why Is My Candle Flame So High?

Why Is My Candle Flame So High?

When it comes to candles, there are different types of flames that can be produced. The height of the flame is determined by the type of wax that is used. For example, paraffin wax will produce a taller flame than beeswax. The type of wick also plays a role in the height of the flame. A cotton wick will produce a taller flame than a paper wick. We use cotton wicks as they are better for the environment and for your health.

Oud oil is heavier than other essential oils, which means it takes longer to burn off. As a result, the oud candle produces a taller flame.

Why is my candle flickering so much?

When it comes to flickering candles, there are a few possible culprits. The most common reason is that the wick isn't trimmed properly. If the wick is too long, it can create a draft that will make the flame flicker. Another possible reason is that the candle is made of soy wax. Soy wax has a lower melting point than other types of wax, so it can be more susceptible to drafts and temperature changes. If you're using our soy candles and it's flickering a lot, try moving it to a different location or trimming the wick a bit shorter. Use a wick trimmer to keep the wick the right length. Available here.

Soy wax is a type of vegetable wax that is derived from soybeans. Unlike other types of wax, soy wax is non-toxic and eco-friendly. It also burns cleaner and slower, which makes it a great choice for candles.

In addition to being non-toxic and eco-friendly, soy candles also last longer than traditional candles made with paraffin wax. Soy candles also produce less soot, which can be harmful to your health.

If you're looking for a candle that is good for you and the environment check out our luxury Oud Candles that use soy wax!
