How to get a good nights sleep

Getting a good night's sleep is one of the most important things for your health. However, it can be hard to fall asleep. Here are some tips to help you doze off into dreamland:

A) Find something that relaxes you and do that before bedtime- read a book, take a hot bath or listening to music might work for you!

B) Keep your bedroom as dark as possible - this will make it easier for your body to produce melatonin which makes us feel sleepy.

C) Don't drink coffee after 2pm or alcohol after 8pm because they will interfere with the quality of your sleep.

D) Try not to eat heavy meals too late in the evening because digestion can keep you awake.

E) Lower the temperature - Ensure your room is at a cool temperature, as having it too hot may make it difficult to fall asleep. According to one literature review, taking a hot bath or shower before bed can improve the quality of your sleep.

We hope you find these tactics helpful in falling asleep faster and more easily. If you want to sleep better, we recommend trying a few of the steps listed above. Remember that your body needs at least seven hours of uninterrupted sleep each night for optimum health and well-being.
