Sahina Ibrahim co-founded NUHR Home in Blackburn in 2016, bringing together a deep personal connection to oud fragrance and a determination to make quality oud-based home fragrance accessible to the UK market. NUHR was built on the fragrance traditions found in British Muslim and South Asian households across the UK, rooted in Blackburn where the brand began, and developed to the standard of a premium British brand.
From day one, Sahina has led all fragrance development in-house at NUHR's Blackburn studio. Every scent profile in the range, including Oud Arabia, Rose & Oud, Amber and Oud Musk, has been developed, tested, and refined by Sahina personally before release.

Sahina's formulation work spans every product category in the NUHR range: oud incense cones, bakhoor, scented candles, reed diffusers, and alcohol-free attars and perfumes. Her approach is grounded in traditional oud fragrance conventions while meeting the specific requirements of UK homes, including ventilation, room size, fragrance longevity in cooler climates, and the practical reality of everyday use rather than ceremonial use only.
All NUHR fragrances are halal, vegan, and developed without animal-derived ingredients. This is a founding principle of the brand, not a later addition.
