Frequently Asked Questions
How do you use oud incense cones?
To use oud incense cones, place one cone on a heat-safe incense burner, light the tip for a few seconds, then gently blow out the flame. The cone will smoulder and release fragrance for approximately 15–20 minutes.
How long do oud incense cones last?
Each oud incense cone burns for around 15–20 minutes. The fragrance can linger in your home for 1–3 hours, depending on room size, ventilation, and airflow.
Are oud incense cones smoky?
Our oud incense cones produce light, elegant smoke, not thick or overpowering clouds. They are designed for indoor use and to gently scent your space without feeling harsh.
Are these incense cones strong?
Yes. NUHR Home oud incense cones are highly scented and significantly stronger than standard incense. Most customers find that one cone is enough to fragrance a large room or open-plan area.
What does oud incense smell like?
Oud has a warm, rich, and luxurious scent. It is often described as woody, musky, slightly sweet, and comforting. Oud is commonly used in luxury hotels and homes across the Middle East.
Which oud incense scent should I choose?
If you are new to oud, softer blends such as Rose & Oud or Oud & Amber are ideal.
For deeper, bolder scents, Oud Arabia or Dubai-inspired blends offer a richer, more intense fragrance experience.
Can oud incense cones remove cooking smells?
Yes. Many customers use oud incense cones after cooking to replace lingering food odours such as garlic, onions, or spices. The fragrance helps refresh the air and leaves the home smelling warm and luxurious.
Are oud incense cones safe to use indoors?
Yes, when used correctly. Always place cones on a heat-safe burner, keep away from children and pets, and never leave burning incense unattended. Used as directed, they are suitable for indoor use.
Are your oud incense cones natural and vegan?
Our oud incense cones are made using agar wood and premium fragrance oils. They are vegan, cruelty-free, and handcrafted in the UK.
Why are NUHR Home oud incense cones stronger than others?
We use a higher concentration of fragrance oils and do not dilute our blends like mass-produced incense brands. This results in a longer-lasting and more luxurious scent.
Do I need a special incense burner?
Any heat-safe incense burner can be used. However, Nuhr Home burners are specifically designed to support our cones safely and allow optimal airflow for the best fragrance release.
What if I don’t like the scent I choose?
If you are unsure which scent to choose, we recommend starting with a variety or welcome pack. If you have any issues, our customer support team is happy to help.
