Stepping into your home when it smells good is the best feeling.  The way your home smells can bring about a sense of calm and make you feel more relaxed and happy. Here are some epic ways to make your home smell great:

How to make you room smell good

The number one tip is always to let some fresh air in. Fresh air removes some of the smells associated with cooking, as well as any other lingering smells and brings in a clean fresh scent. Needless to say, opening the windows isn't always practical during Winter time in the UK, so this tip is for warmer days!

How to make you kitchen smell good

The smell of a freshly baked batch of cookies or home made bread leaves the kitchen smelling good enough to eat.

One of the smells I love most has to be the smell of freshly laundered clothes. You can also try your hand at making your own scented dryer sheets.

An easy way to do this is by cutting up some cotton cloths or old t-shirts into small pieces and putting them into a large bowl. Then combine 125ml vinegar with 8 drops of your favourite oil in a small bowl. Pour the mixture over the cloths. Keep in a closed container. To use, remove from the container, squeeze excess liquid into the jar and add into the tumble dryer.
